Victorian Pear and Ant Silver American Figural Napkin Holder / Ring / Serviette
Fantastic Victorian American figural napkin ring in silver plate depicting a large pear on a branch with leaves and tiny ant on the leaf base.  This is an original Victorian American made Napkin ring made by Hartford Silver Plate company, Hartford Connecticut  1881-1893.  The ring is hallmarked with Harford Silver Co Quadruple Plate #2302 and hand engraved x039-3.   Napkin holder is shown in the Figural Napkin Rings Collectors Identification and Value Guide by Lillian Gottschalk & Sandra Whitson pg 196...The bible of Napkin Rings.  It is in excellent condition with wear commensurate with age.  Please inspect all images as they are part of the listing.

The holder has been cleaned and hand polished according to professional standards and a museum grade micro-crystalline wax by Renaissance applied to prevent tarnishing and fingerprints.
