I could see.  I did find that it
is
not
attracted
b
y
a
magnet
.
The silver
l
a
t
e
is in
good condition but there is some
tarnishing
which
I have not
tried
to
clean
.
I've never seen
a
napkin ring
with
this
intricate
design.
There
is
a
raised
relief
portrait
of
a
Roman or Greek
person
,
maybe
Caesar
, surrounded by
a
raised
relief
bird
and flowers on each side
.
Measures 2
"
high and the diameter is 2".
The
edges
are
slightly
bent
as often happens in
older
napkin
rings.
There is an initial
B
engraved
on
one
side
.
This napkin ring is beautiful on display and makes a
wonderful
addition
to
any
collection
.
