CONDITION:
The Morgantown Glass Company made these beautiful rarely found candlesticks with the lovely Fontinelle Etch. The stems of these candlesticks are cased with  black filaments running through the crystal stems.  These unusual candlesticks are in
UNDAMAGED
CONDITION WITHOUT CHIPS CRACKS OR MOLD IMPERFECTIONS
. The etching is flawless. You won't regret adding these lovely candlesticks to your Morgantown
collection.
Fontinelle

(1931) (Crystal, Crystal with Black Filament Stems, Crystal with Cobalt Filament Stems, Venetian Green Bowl crystal stem)  Fontinelle is a 1930s pattern highlighting a graceful dancing figure within a cameo design.  This etch has been found on many of Morgantown's blanks.  A 1931 ad which features the Fontinelle etch with black filament stems states,
"FONTINELLE - This lovely maiden is a duo-tone silvery etch with a touch of black encased in crystal stems.  Many pieces are available: goblets, tall sherbets, ice teas, footed finger bowl, candlesticks, and compotes."
Although not easily found, this pattern is still very popular. Collecting a set with this lovely etch is worth the extra effort it takes to assemble it.
