Meriden Britannia Co USA Silverplate Victorian Square Napkin Ring w Figural Boys

Description

Lovely ornate Victorian figural napkin ring, made by Meriden Brittania Co in the latter 1800s. Stamped with "Made and Guaranteed By Meriden B Company, 332, USA".  Lovely square napkin ring with delicate ornate edges, ring is held up on either side by 2 little boys. The base is a carved ornate leaf pattern and rests on 4 ball feet.  Excellent condition for its age.  The top 2 planes of the square and the boys still are shiny and bright, the underside of the square and the inside is much more worn and the base has areas of shine and areas that are dull, the ball feet are still pretty shiny.  All in all, still very "silvery" for an item this old.
