This is a marvelous and rare antique Victorian American figural napkin ring c1880 which has a cat with glass eyes standing with the ring forming its body. fabulous design. Great detail. Rare. See photos.
This cat figure napkin ring is shown in the book "Figural Napkin Rings: Collectors Identification and Value Guild" by Gottschalk and Whitson's on page 13 in plate 12. Their ring is not marked as to maker or number either.
