Antique American Figural Napkin Ring/Dachshund/Silver Plate/Victorian/Original
Attention all Dachshund Lovers!!!!  This adorable antique American Figural Napkin Holder is sure to please all the Dachshund lovers and figural napkin ring lovers alike!  Such character was captured in the carving of this lovely holder from the victorian era in the 1800's.   This is an original Antique, it is not a replica or newer figural being made today.   The napkin ring is pictured and discussed in the book of Figural Napkin Rings by Gottschalk and Whitson.  Today, these napkin holders are a highly saught after and collectible, especially the rarer ones in this condition!
Measures: 4.5" long and almost 3" tall
Condition: Excellent commensurate with age
Note:  This same piece sold in a high end Auction House for 35.00 in 2010 in the same condition.
